That’s exactly what Meet Up with Helen Merz is all about—and I’m thrilled to announce our next one is happening on Tuesday, August 20th at Lula’s Empanadas in Haddon Heights!

And even better—fingers crossed—we might be some of the first to check out their newly expanded restaurant space! 🙌 Whether we're in the cozy original spot or breaking in the new dining area, we’re in for delicious bites and great conversation.

Each meetup takes place at a local business around South Jersey. From mocktail bars, like Mercantile 1888 in Collingswood, and ice cream shops, like Cabana's in Haddon Heights, to walks through town or community spaces like the Haddon Heights Cabin, we keep it low-key and local.

Lula’s is a perfect fit for this. They’re a beloved part of the Haddon Heights food scene, and I’m so excited to bring our group to support them. We ask that everyone attending consider purchasing a drink, snack, or meal to support the host business—it’s one small way we give back to the places that make our towns feel like home.
