If you’ve followed me for a while, you probably recognize Lauren and Ricardo. We've worked together for mini sessions, beach adventures, and even a few puppy portraits. This spring, I had the joy of capturing their biggest milestone yet: becoming Mom and Dad to sweet baby Amelia Grace.
Just two weeks after Amelia’s arrival, I traveled to their home in North Jersey for a Lifestyle Newborn Photography session. Amelia was alert and wide-eyed the entire time—curious about every little movement, every camera click. Her expressions were priceless. Their loyal pup, Bradley, stood by like a proud big brother, always ready for his close-up.
We took breaks when needed, kept things relaxed, and let the moment guide us. That’s the magic of lifestyle newborn sessions: they’re calm, connected, and beautifully true to life.
What Is Lifestyle Newborn Photography?
Lifestyle newborn sessions are designed to capture your family’s early days in a natural, comfortable way—right in your home. Rather than posed portraits in a studio, this approach documents your everyday love: the snuggles on the couch, the tiny toes in the bassinet, and the in-between moments that matter most.
- Sessions are best scheduled within the first 2–4 weeks after baby arrives
- We’ll spend 90–120 minutes together, allowing time for feeding, diaper changes, and soothing breaks
- The pace is calm, baby-led, and intentionally unhurried
Whether it’s your first baby or your fifth, these sessions are about telling your real story—no stiff posing, no pressure, just pure connection.
Booking Your Newborn Photography Session
If you're expecting—or recently welcomed your little one—I’d love to help you preserve these early, fleeting moments with meaningful, honest imagery.
Because of the flexible nature of newborn scheduling, I take on a limited number of sessions each month to ensure space around your birth and postpartum timeline.
